Persimmon Picking in West Kyoto
Located in Nishikyo ward, Senya Farm offers a rural escape without leaving the city. Enjoy kaki (persimmon) picking from late October to early December (adults ¥900). BBQ and sukiyaki are also available (starting at ¥4,150; reservation required), along with a scenic viewpoint.
Hours: 10:00–16:00 (open daily during season)
Access: Less than 15 minutes by car from Katsura Station (Hankyu Kyoto Line).
Shuttle available for groups of 10+ making meal reservations.
